kSail/BUSA Partnership - BUSA Championship Support

Through the partnership, kSail directly supports BUSA in the delivery of some or all of their Championships each year. Depending on venue and requirements, this support varies from year to year.

Team Racing Championships

Most of our support each year is provided to the Team Racing Championship. From documentation, schedules, results and equipment many aspects of the Championship have and do benefit from kSail's support and resources.

Qualifiers and SSS Leagues

For Qualifiers and SSS Leagues, kSail will support BUSA/SSS and each of the host clubs. 
  1. Live online schedules and results.
  2. Free Hire of Spares Box
  3. Discounted hire equipment
  4. Additionally discounted pre-event parts and spares for Hosts
  5. Online and phone support before and during the event.
Host Clubs are encouraged to contact kSail as soon as possible to ensure that the support available matches that required. If the host club has not been in contact, we will usually reach out a couple of weeks before the event however not all support may still be available.

Playoffs

kSail support for Playoffs will normally follow a similar format as for each Qualifier. Depending on venue and volunteer requirements, one of the kSail Team may be on venue for the event which will give greater option for support.

Championship Finals

Where possible, the Championship Finals is one of the events where we provide BUSA with an enhanced level of support.
  1. Live Online Swiss League Scheduling and Results Services
  2. Volunteer kSail Team Members for Race Management, Umpiring and/or Event Support
  3. Full kSail Events Trailer Support with mobile chandlery, workshop and race office.
  4. Full access to kSail Hire Equipment

Fleets

Depending on the event location and local facilities, the kSail Event Support Trailer will often travel to BUSA Fleets with a full range of chandlery, tools and repair equipment to provide support and keep boats sailing competitively throughout the event.

Match Racing

At least one of the kSail Team will often be at BUSA Match Racing as a volunteer Umpire or Race Official.

Yachting

A member of the kSail Team might be found in the Jury Room or on the water with the Race Committee.
