University sailing clubs use kSail in many different ways. From using our team racing schedules and results systems, to ordering parts and equipment, repairing and maintaining boats, preparing fleets for events, or simply seeking advice. Through the kSail/BUSA Partnership, we aim to make these services more accessible to university sailing clubs and the students who run them with discounted pricing, direct access to support and a range of event and fleet-related benefits.

Some aspects of the partnership are highly visible, such as the growing history of clubs, teams and events available through the kSail Events Portal. Much more happens quietly behind the scenes, the kSail Team provides member clubs with a wide range of support and technical advice, before and during university events.

The partnership is designed to support university clubs across the full range of their events, boats and activities. Through the kSail Webstore, universities clubs are able to access reduced pricing on chandlery and equipment. Users need to be logged in to the registered university account to be shown the discounted pricing!

Alongside discounted pricing, many clubs make use of the advice and experience available through the partnership. From preparing fleets for major events through to planning repairs and maintenance projects, the kSail Team is always happy to help. Over time, we have got to know many university fleets remarkably well, and that shared history can often be just as valuable as the parts and equipment themselves.
