Enter Results - Team Racing

From the All Races page of the event, each race has a menu to the right.

From the Menu choose Enter Result (this will only show if you are logged in and have been given access to enter results).

As each boat crosses the finish line click/tap the button for each boat, they will turn green and automatically insert the Finish Position and Points. The buttons show the boat name and crew/team name.

If you press the wrong button, or realise that a boat has not finished, press the button again to 'unfinish' the boat, the positions and points of all other teams will then be adjusted and the button turn orange to highlight you to the change.

If you need to apply a scoring adjustment then select the Scoring Code and the Points will automatically be adjusted to the correct value per RRS 2025 D3 "Scoring a Race" - this should however be checked against the scoring rules in force at the event to ensure the value is as expected. Please note, marking a boat as Retired after finishing will have the effect of unfinishing the boat, and each boat with a worse finishing place shall be moved up one place (RRS D3.1(e)

When the results are complete you can click Submit Results to save and move on to the next screen. Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen without saving. The wait button has three options, each of which will save the current finishing positions, points, and score codes, and either take you back to the schedule, to the next race, or to the previous race. This allows the finish boat to finish races which, for example,  have been caught up by a later race.

When you click Confirm Result you are taken to the Update Entry screen where you have an opportunity to review the Result.
This page will check the results for any errors (missing points etc.). The race cannot be marked as finished until all errors are fixed. If the results need editing, please click the Edit Result button to return to the first page.

Any missing values or values that should be checked e.g. Finish Position and Points don't match are highlighted.

Check that the Finish Position and Points are as you expect.
Confirm the Race Status at the top of the table is either Race Finish (normally set by the finish recorder) or Race Complete (normally set by the results officer).
Clicking Submit then places the Race and all of its information into the record store and allows for the results and tie-breaks on all display pages to be updated.
