Swiss League Race Generation

It is possible to generate the next round +1 any time after the final race within a round has been completed. To alert you to the option to create a new round, a message will be displayed at the top of the result confirmation (update race status) page.

To create the Next Round, from the Event Menu -> Manage Event

Pick the current Stage

Choose Create Next Round from the options available

Check that the details are correct and type YES (all in capitals) in the Confirm box and click Submit

The races will be generated and added to the published schedule.

NB it is not possible to undo the round generation, however if you decide to stop racing before starting the round the unused races can be hidden or abandoned.

The standard sailing instruction template for Swiss League does not allow the re-generation of a round once published even if results are later amended or races abandoned in complete rounds.

Consideration should be given to outstanding resails and if possible having those results entered before generating following rounds.
