Sailors vs Temporary Sailors
When managing a Team you have the choice to invite a Sailor or Create Temporary Sailor, there are key differences between the 2 as follows:
Sailors
- have account on the kSail Platform allowing login
- can be invited to join to multiple Teams and Clubs
- can choose a Display Name
- can choose to have a public profile and appear in searches
- has a personal event and result history
- can be invited to manage Teams and Clubs
Temporary Sailors
- appear only as a name
- only exist within a Team
- can later be invited to create an account and retrieve event history
The purpose of the Temporary Sailor is for those who are unable or do not wish to have an account when entering events.
