How the format works

An exciting format where clubs/schools/universities enter crews into multiple divisions and the overall result across divisions is calculated.

Crews come together to form a team who have a single entry in each division. Scores from each crew are added together and a team is scored based on the result from all their crews without any discards.
Crews before the event nominate which division in which they will sail.

For example Team kSail has a Blue Division and Yellow Division crew. The Blue crew has results 1,4,6,2; the Yellow crew has results 2,2,5,6. The overall team results therefore are 1,2,2,5,6,6 - a total of 22 points.

This format can be used where each team supplies their own boat, or can use shared boats and teams can be rotated through the boats to help with equalisation.
