Firefly Tiller Stops
On Rondar Fireflies, it is important to maintain, repair and replace your Tiller Stops.
The rubber tiller stops should be mounted below the transom bar to prevent the tiller from moving too far and becoming damaged or jammed.
This simple maintenance item extends the life of the Stock and Tiller, particularly the Rondar/Genesis type, by preventing damage and strain on the tiller arm.

Unfortunately, for many boats the 5mm bolt which was part of the build specification is not sufficient and will have become bent during use. If you have not maintained your stops; you will find that you won't be able to easily remove the bolts and will have to take a hacksaw to them. Be careful as it is very easy to damage the transom bar.
